Bedpost, a web 2.0 application that remains in alpha, aims to give you insights about your sex life. By entering in partners, time durations and tags to describe your "doing the horizontal" data, the app appears to build a calendar of stats and averages. Other multimedia functionality includes uploading photos of partners, in case you'd like to brag to yourself about your previous conquests. The creator states:
"I built it for myself about 4 years ago, and this is the culmination of years and years of thinking about how to make it available to the world. ... Before long, you'll have a rolling history of your sex life on which to reflect."
That is, if you really find it useful to reflect on the spirit of sexual past. We can only hope this service doesn't include a "people you might know" feature.

Is there a "karma" thing like plurk, or some random authority, if you have a lot of sex? :D
As the fall session is about to start, my roomates and I decided to launch a great "'08 sex tournament". I think this could help, even if everybody knows that the girl will win...
I am sure many people will think this and get on the site anyway:
"Goddamit, I don't need even more pressure to fuck! I have such low self esteem I will look at other people's stats and feel bad!"
@molly: You can't see other people's stats, so no worries there. :) I've actually been surprised by the screenshots I've seen, so maybe that's a feature people are clamoring for but it's not going to make in the public beta.

@trisha myblackbook's UI doesn't even look remotely similar to bedpost. In Web 2.0, it's not copying, it's whichever comes out as the best in terms of usefulness and UI (e.g. there are a ton of sites that have similar features, but typically one clear "winner" emerges over time).
I would love to have an invite for this site. Hopefully they'll send out invites or open it to the public soon!
